Vladimir A. Kozarenko
![]() |
Vladimir Alekseyevich Kozarenko (Born in Moscow 1963) is a celebrated memnotechnologist and an author of several leading books on memory. He spent 16 years of rigorous scientific research to finally design his masterpiece; the GMS system. Through his groundbraking work he is respected as a leader in today's memory improvement technology. He is a highly sought-after lecturer and instructor at top universities and private schools. |
Kozarenko is not a flashy guy like some of the "memory champions". He is a first and foremost a brilliant researcher, not a showman or "mental magician". His passion is focused towards scientific research and lecturing to help everyday people unlock their true mental potential.
Some of the books he has written on memory improvement are:
- "Mnemotechnology - The secrets Of Supermemory" (2000), M.A.Ziganov, V.A.Kozarenko
- "The Memorization Of Foreign Words" (2001), M.A.Ziganov, V.A.Kozarenko, A.N.Semin
- "Textbook Of Mnemotechnology" (2002), V.A.Kozarenko
- "Mnemotechnology: step by step" (2002).

Kozarenko was already considered an expert in his field when he started as the lead developer of the Giordano Memorization System back in 1990. He started by combining all known memory techniques at the time (most of which were hundreds of years old), with the latest research in neorology and learning skills. Lecturing on mnemotechnology in several major schools and universities gave him the unique opportunity for continually testing and refining the techniques.
In the end, only the most effective memory techniques remained and new groundbreaking discoveries were made and included in the system. The gms system has hundreds of new concepts and techniques never described in any memory improvement literature ever before. The full GMS system was finally completed as late as in 2006. GMS has repeatedly been referred to as "most significant educational discovery of the century."
